Digital Prepress
Nittany Valley Offset has a full multi-shift electronic prepress department featuring the CREO Prinergy workflow. We are equipped with the CREO Quantum 800 II trendsetter to accommodate all press formats. NVO's prepress department supplies digital imaging file processing for all of our manufacturing operations from the most complicated publication project to the fast pace, quick turn rush job. We offer INTEGRIS digital color proofs and digital dyluxes. All proofing is carefully profiled and calibrated for the press and substrate your project will be running on.
NVO has also introduced staccato screening. staccato is CREO's brand of Stochastic screening. Utilizing 20 micron screening, this new form of printing increases quality, sharpness, registration, and color consistency by leaps and bounds over the traditional elliptical dot screening method. Another incredible advantage is the fact that there is no possibility of "Moire" patterns due to the fact that all of the screen angles have been eliminated. This means that designers can use many extra colors without fear of the traditional "Moire" patterns. Our most recent addition is Synapse Insite.
Another fine CREO product, Insite is a front-end for our customers to submit, review and approve files to go to press... all from the comfort of their own office. Online collaboration can be possible with real time updates. Press
NVO has six - color presses with coating capabilities ready to respond to clients’ needs on a twenty-four hour basis. Through the use of "staccato" printing in our press environment, we create quality printing that approaches continuous tone printing in appearance.
Through the constant monitoring of ink densities and other press process controls, we consistently provide high-quality, superior finished products promoting a high level of client satisfaction.
Binding Services
We offer cutting, folding, saddlestitching and perfect binding to satisfy all of your finishing needs. In addition, NVO provides ink jet addressing as well as wafer sealing services. We also perform drop shipping and shrink wrapping in small quantities providing complete fulfillment services for your finished product.
